This piece is made to order and will be handcrafted specifically for you after your purchase.
Using the burner-work technique, I carefully recreate the form of an Asian tiger mosquito in glass, focusing on its distinctive features and intricate details. The sculpture captures the delicate structure and realistic presence of this small insect.
One of the highlights of this piece is its depiction of a mosquito after feeding on blood. The vivid red color, representing the blood within its body, is beautifully expressed in glass. The striking red contrasts with the delicate, translucent qualities of the material, creating a unique and captivating beauty.
Although mosquitoes are familiar creatures, their intricate forms are rarely observed up close. Enjoy the delicate details and the distinctive beauty of the vivid red coloration of a blood-fed mosquito.
