This piece is made to order and will be handcrafted specifically for you after your purchase.
Using the burner-work technique, I carefully recreate the form of an ant in glass. Although larger than a real ant, this is a relatively small piece within my collection of glass sculptures. Despite its small size, the distinctive body structure and intricate details of the ant are carefully recreated to capture its realistic presence.
Enjoy the delicate craftsmanship and unique beauty of glass, expressed in the small form of an ant.
Size & Pose Customization
The size shown in the product listing is an example.
The standard size is approximately 1.5 cm in length × 1.2 cm in width × 1.2 cm in height.
Larger sizes can be made up to approximately 3 cm along the longest dimension.
The size and pose can be adjusted to some extent upon request. If you would like a different size or pose, please feel free to contact me before placing your order.
If you would like a piece with a longest dimension exceeding 3 cm, please contact me for a separate consultation.
Included Tweezers & Handling Instructions
A pair of dedicated tweezers is included with your purchase for handling the piece.
As the sculpture is extremely delicate, please handle it carefully using the included tweezers.
Please note that the cotton wool used for packaging can easily become entangled with the sculpture. Take extra care when removing the piece from its packaging and during handling.
Production Time
As each piece is made to order, please allow a minimum of approximately 2 weeks for production.
Depending on the details of your order and my production schedule, additional time may be required. I will notify you in advance if production is expected to take longer than usual.
